

Born on May 7, 1946, in Malone, New York, Gary lived a life of service, dedication, and hard work. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and spent many years working as a machinist, where he was respected for his skill and strong work ethic.
Gary is survived by his loving daughter, Michelle; his five cherished grandchildren, Makayla, Haley, Tyler, Dustin, and Rylee; his seven beloved great-grandchildren; and his five loving sisters, Audrey, Betty, Etta, Wanda, and Janet. His love for his family was evident throughout his life, and they will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Outside of work, Gary had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting elk and deer, finding peace and fulfillment in nature. Whether spending time in the wilderness or with his family, he cherished the moments that brought him closest to the people and places he loved.
Gary will be remembered for his strength, resilience, unwavering work ethic, and devotion to his family. His service to his country and the example he set through his life will never be forgotten.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on August 7, 2026, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Gary Richards will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory and the legacy of his life will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
