Georgia May Wooten

Our Mom, Georgia, long time resident of Phoenix and Surprise Arizona, passed peacefully July 3, 2024.

Mom, Georgia loved preparing homemade meals for her family and creating beautiful quilts. She was meticulous in her craft as she was in her work ethics with Digital Corporation until she retired in 1979.

She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, H.G. Sons: Vincent, Denis (Rene), Duane (Tamika), Richard (Debbie) and daughters Andrea and Vebray. Sisters: Ella (twin) and Zeffie, 27 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by beloved grandson Brandon Scott Wooten.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10AM at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV), 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, Peoria, Arizona 85383. Georgia was laid to rest on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed on behalf of Georgia Wooten to Hospice of the Valley.
