Gerry was one of the very first guys to say hello when you met. He had a great memory for people that went along with his ever present smile and attitude.
He was one of the Good Guys and will be deeply missed by all.

Jerry taught me to fly the B727, preparing for the Captain position on that airplane. His professionalism, and all around great teaching carried me through, and it was Jerry that shined as he knew how to get the job done. I never had a better training experience, and Jerry stands out through my career as the standard that we all aim for. I wish for tailwinds and Godspeed for this fine man.

I flew with Jerry as a new hire 727 flight engineer and worked in the simulator with him as an engineer instructor at Republic Airlines. What a great guy, a natural teacher and fun to be around.

Jerry will be missed as our leader of our Tuesday rides for breakfast and for all the great stories he shared. Thanks for taking me into the fold when I was the new old kid on the block. You will be missed.
