Gladice is survived by her children Elaine Ford, Jessie Ford , and John Ford Jr, her grandchildren Denee, Jessie Jr, John III, Dori, and Danny, her great-grandchildren Noah, Maliyah Keoni, Deja, De'Eric, and Devay, her sibling Joe Sims, her nieces Merle, Katherine, and Joyce, her dear friends Anna Stewart and Theresa Bullock, and a host of other beloved friends and family members.
Along with her parents, Gladice is preceded in death by her husband John Ford, and her brother Bennie Sims.
A visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 12:00pm, with a funeral service to follow, beginning at 1:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery immediately following services. The family invites you to a catered reception that will be held in the chapel following the graveside service.
