Gloria M. Ruiz

Gloria M. Ruiz, a faithful and generous soul, passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Sonora, Mexico, on July 31, 1947, to Rafael Moreno and Maria Alcaraz, Gloria was one of 13 children. Her life was marked by bravery, selflessness, and a compassionate nature that touched everyone she met.

Gloria was a thoughtful and patient mother to Gloria, Gerardo, Maria, Jose and Jesenia.

Known for her kind-heartedness, Gloria loved to cook, especially tamales, and had an exceptional green thumb. She could plant a seed and watch it grow, nurturing it with the same care she gave to her family and friends.

She is survived by four children Gloria (Albert) Avitia, Gerardo (Dalinda) Moreno, Jose "Chuy" (Isela) Ruiz, and Jesenia (Bryant) Beasley, along with 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Gloria is also survived by six sisters and three brothers.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Maria Moreno and three siblings.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 9-10 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.

Gloria's legacy of love and kindness will continue to grow in the hearts of all who knew her.
