It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Gloria Jean Wirths, who passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born on December 1, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana, Gloria lived a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether you were family, a lifelong friend, or someone she had just met. Her warmth, generosity, and sense of humor left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Michael Wirths; her son, Matthew Radlauer, daughter in-law Maria Valencia; and her treasured grandchildren, Alexander Radlauer, Angelica Mendivil, and Noah Mendivil, who knew her simply as "Grammy." She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Sparks; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Sparks, Marie Ritchey, Michael Stockton, Robert Stockton, Mark Stockton, and Christopher Stockton, along with their spouses, children, many extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rick Radlauer, her mother, Laura Lilley, and her stepfather, Phillip Lilley.
Gloria built a successful career as a Real Estate Broker, but to her, it was never just about buying and selling homes. She genuinely cared about the people she worked with and took pride in building lasting relationships with her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends.
Outside of work, Gloria found happiness in life's simple joys. She adored her dogs, who were always part of the family, and anyone who knew her knew about her love for Snoopy. Her collection brought her endless joy, and if it had been up to her, Christmas would have been celebrated all year long—with Snoopy decorations everywhere.
But above all else, Gloria loved her family. Being a grandmother wasn't just another title—it was one of her greatest joys. To her grandchildren, she wasn't "Grandma"; she was Grammy, a name that meant unconditional love, warm hugs, laughter, and a safe place to land. The love she poured into her family will continue to live on through each of them.
Gloria taught us that kindness costs nothing, family means everything, and the best memories are made by simply being together. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are forever grateful for the love she gave so freely and the countless memories she leaves behind. Her legacy will continue to inspire us every day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at:
West Resthaven Funeral Home
6450 West Northern Avenue
Glendale, Arizona 85301
Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate Gloria's life, share stories, laugh through the tears, and honor the remarkable woman she was.
Though Gloria is no longer with us, her love remains woven into the lives of everyone she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
