74, of Glendale, AZ passed away on June 30, 2014. He was born in Provo, UT on March 16, 1940. He lived in the Orem-Provo area until he enlisted in the Air Force and served 6 years at Luke. He remained in the Phoenix area until his death. He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Teri), daughters Virginia Barker (Ken) of Chico, CA, Sherry Jeffries (Jay), and Holly Guiliani (Mark Jr.) of Phoenix, AZ and five grandchildren, Daniel and Shawn Barker, Shea Jeffries, and Alexandra and Adisyn Guiliani, aunts Shirley Howe of Provo, UT and Rhea Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, UT, sisters-in-law Betty and Susan Anderson of Provo, UT, brothers-in-law, Ray and Rudy Campos, John Aleman of Glendale and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter, Diana and brothers Eugene, Frances and Dean. Hallis served the community as a Glendale Evening/Longhaven Lion for 35 years. He was District Governor of 21A in 2007-2008, received several International Awards over the years and was proud of helping to provide glasses to hundreds of children. Hallis retired as an Industrial Plant Engineer from Airesearch/Allied Signal/Garrett. He was President of the IAIPE in 1986/87. He loved all things outdoors—hunting, fishing, flying and gardening. In his final years, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. All funeral services will be Monday, July 7 at Resthaven Park, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ.
