Henry J. Gomez (Many Names)

He worked and retired from the VA Medical Hospital after 39 ½ years of service as a Vascular Technician. He was also a United States Veteran retiree after serving 20 years in the Army National Guard.

Henry was a loving generous man who enjoyed talking with family, friends and complete strangers. He was a person who always made sure that everyone was having a good time. Henry enjoyed being around his family, outdoors camping, playing poker with family and friends, walking around flea markets, painting ceramics and eating out at nice places. But the one thing he loved most was supporting his 3 grandchildren Tyler Miller, Jalyn Miller-Howard and Samantha Miller. You could usually find him at one of their many sport activities. He was the Grandpa everyone knew and loved. Henry had unique sense of humor and charm about himself.

He is survived by his only daughter Jessica Miller, son in law Jan Miller, his 3 grandchildren and siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home. A final viewing will take place on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00AM also at West Resthaven Funeral Home. Henry will be laid to rest following services at Resthaven Park Cemetery with military honors at 11:00AM
