Edward H. Schultz of Phoenix AZ, formerly of Lincoln, IL passed away peacefully Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born on Oct 31, 1928 in Broadwell, IL to Albert and Florence Gross Schultz. He married his beloved wife Ruth Ilene Jackson on November 20, 1945. She preceded him in death. Ed is survived by their 2 children Sandra Jean Schultz of Phoenix, AZ and Larry Edward (Holly) Schultz of Bloomington, IL, 3 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his grandson Michael Edward Clinard. Ed was a hardworking man. He spent 35 years working as a machinist for Caterpillar Inc. in both Peoria and Decatur, IL. When Ed retired he moved to Phoenix and worked under contract for Valley National Bank for 20yrs. In retirement he found he was still young at heart and could keep up with the younger crowd. In 1993 Ed would find happiness again with his companion Mallory King, they spent almost 20 wonderful years together laughing loving and enjoying life. Mallory preceded him in death.
