

Ida Lucille Michelsen, 94, of Glendale, AZ, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2015. Ida was born in Mandan, North Dakota to Wendel and Helen Reisenauer. She married Donavan Michelsen, lived in Washington State and moved to Arizona in 1963. Ida worked in retail (Sears) until retiring in 1985, when she and Donavan started spending their summers in Mormon Lake, Arizona especially enjoying fishing and exploring Northern Arizona. Ida was an active member of the Maryvale Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by Donavan, her husband of 60 years, and brother, Thomas Reisenauer. Ida is survived by: 1 brother-Richard (Ruth)Reisenauer; 3 children-Donna (Paul)Brown, Lucille (Gary)Heine, Michael (Gisele)Michelsen; 9 grandchildren-Patrick (Audrey)Heine, Melinda (Neal Werntgen)Heine, Carrie (Marc)Paulus, Jonathan (Molly)Brown, Christopher (Cynthia)Brown, Michelle (Chris)Short, Craig (Lauren)Balsamo, Jill (Robert)Dillard, Jaime (Brian) Quattlebaum; 23 great grandchildren-Katlin Heine, Brennan Heine, Cole Paulus, Avery Paulus, Hunter Werntgen, Marcus Dillard, Emma Hurley, Nathan Dillard, Camille Dillard, Micha Quattlebaum, Brian Jr. Quattlebaum, Jaylee Quattlebaum, Rocco Balsamo, Robert Brown, Mitchell Brown, Samuel Brown, Barry Padfield, Christopher Padfield, Anthony Padfield, Thomas Short, Andrew Short, Brody Short, Logan Short; 2 great great grandchildren- Tiffany Padfield, Barry Jr. Padfield. Services will be held Tuesday, August 18 at 9 am at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ followed by burial at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery-Cave Creek, AZ location.
