Iris Ada Behrens

Iris Ada Behrens, 86 of Glendale, Arizona quietly passed away on January 17, 2011 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grand and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family.

She is survived by her son Dean K. Behrens of Chandler, AZ and daughter Melissa Behrens of Villa Park, IL; five grandchildren Rebecca, Nina, Natalie, Sara and Jason; three great-grandchildren Jacqulyn, Brandon and Christopher; and one sister Shirley Schaefer. Iris is predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald Eugene Behrens.

The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday January 23, 2012 at Apostles Lutheran Church, 7020 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ. Inurnment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, Phoenix, AZ.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Iris’ memory to Banner Hospice, 275 E. Germann Rd., Suite 110, Gilbert, AZ 89297.
