His career progressed as he became a Student Advisor at Glendale Landmark School before moving to Glendale American Elementary, where he served as an assistant principal and retired as principal.
Jack is survived by his sons Chris (Leslie) and Adam (Mollie), grandson Joshua, Mollie's son Carter, whom he considered a bonus grandson and his sister Louann.
Betty, his beloved wife, preceded him in death on March 10, 2022, as did his parents and baby brother Bobby.
Jack and Betty cherished their time together, especially their trips to Hawaii, which they referred to as their paradise. Jack was known for his booming voice, larger-than-life spirit, and a heart of gold, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication that will be remembered by all who knew him.
