He served Glendale Chapter as Worthy Patron for six years. In 1987 he became the Worthy Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of Arizona, OES with Betty Lou Louhi serving as his Worthy Matron. He later served on the Heart Committee of the General Grand Chapter. Jack was a 50+ year member of El Zaribah Shrine & the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Joyce O’Connor (Paul), sons: Grant (Nanci) and Bentley (Andrea), nephew Edwin (Wanda), sister-in-law, Carolyn Mathews, all of the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandson and many nieces & nephews.
