I'll miss hearing my song on your cell, and the little pat on my head for good luck. Thank you for teaching me how to play the game well. I will miss you, but never forget you and the kind and generious person you were in life. In fondest memories

Jim you have made everyone smile. I do pray for your family. I pray that one day we will all be together as one in Jesus our Lord and Savior. We deserved the penalty of death but Jesus took upon himself to save us. I praise God you were among those he died for.

Your my partner in crime for pinochle I know I won't find another that has all the ACES that never had one or TRIPLE RUNS, Now time is due for sure you will get one now with all your ARMY BUDDIES!

Thank you JIM for being a friend to me!!

Your Friend Aways,

I'm so sorry. I wish I could be there with you during this time. One of my most treasured memories was on my trip to Arizona in 1979...and things weren't going as planned, Jim picked me up and we went for Pizza at the Mini-Golf and arcade place. It was so nice of him and I had a great time and was truly something I'll never forget. Growing up with the Garvey kids meant so much to me. Even Penny got to the point where he didn't have to be locked up when I arrived...and he even allowed me to pet him on occasion. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
