Jim served with the United States Navy. He later moved to Delaware spending 20 years there before heading out west to California.
Jim worked for over 30 years for Sears Department Stores retiring in the 1990’s.
He ultimately moved to Arizona to be closer to his son Matt as his health began to fail.
He is survived by two children Heather Hoopes & Matthew Hoopes, three grandchildren Kaylee, Kyle & Kota and three great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a service on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00am at Alto-Reste Park, 109 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA 16601.
