Jean Ellen Baird

Of Glendale, Arizona, was born October 17, 1922, in Payette Idaho to Edna and Jesse Ball. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2011. She and Jack were married in Phoenix, Arizona on February 12, 1943 following Jack’s tour of duty in the Pacific with the US Navy. Jean was a faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church, Glendale, for over 55 years. Jean is survived by her children, four sons Larry (and Suella), Mike (and Martha), Lynn (and Terri), and Jim (and Terri), and one daughter Jaci Norton (and Bob). There are 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren that will miss her very much. Jean’s life was characterized by her love for Christ and for His Church. She is dearly loved and will be missed both by her church and her family. Visitation will be at Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale, Arizona, on Friday, September 23 from 5:00-8:00 PM. The funeral will be held at First Southern Baptist Church at Sahuaro Ranch on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 11:30 AM.
