I haven’t seen Jennifer in many years, it’s been a long time since Hempstead, but I’ll never forget her beautiful smile and all the fun we had as kids.  Love to you always Jennifer, we miss you.

We have watched Jennifer grow through the years.  We have most often seen her through the eyes of her mother, our very good friend, Joice.  It was clear to us that Joice had pride in all of Jennifer’s achievements, and was there to give her support during times when things were difficult. Jennifer was an intelligent, sensitive, and creative woman with a great sense of humor. Her mother’s pride and love for her was always apparent. Jennifer was a single mother of four great children. She was a college graduate, an excellent cook, and she held some challenging jobs while raising a family. There was never a time when Jennifer was not gracious and welcoming of us. She seemed to have an innate ability to reach people and help them to feel comfortable.
We were more than shocked and saddened to hear that someone with so much light and life had died. Words can never adequately convey the powerful impact of such a loss. We extend to Joice, Ashley, Derek, Daniel, and Alexis our deepest sympathy. We hope Jennifer’s bright energy continues to shine within your hearts. With our love and prayers, Sharon and MaryAnn



When our high school friends would head to Ashley's house once in a while after school, Jen always treated me like another one of her kids. I always felt comfortable, because she didn't act like she had to change the way she acted when we were over. The house was always loud and full of life, whether she was yelling at Alexis and Daniel who were still in grade school at the time, or having a 100dB conversation with her mom from across the house, it was so much different from my house growing up as an only child. She was one of the first adults I can remember who spoke to me as a high schooler as if I wasn't a child, and I'll never forget that. Sad that she's left, but happy to have known and shared a small sliver of her life. 

I really don't know how to express this all so well, but I was devasted when I heard that my first cousin Jennifer E. Jones (who is basically like a sister to me) passed away peacefully in her home in Peoria Arizona. Jen and I were both born in NY, only like a year or so apart before moving to AZ w/ our families as kids. So young and full of life. She was such a funny, witty, beautiful Mom w/ an uplifting soul and personality that touched everyone around her. You will be dearly missed Cuz!!!... My condolences to her 4 children (my 2nd Cousins) Ashley, Derek, Alexis and Daniel and her Mother, (my Aunt) Joice Jones.

The photo of her is beautiful, and is an insight into her vibrant personality. She was the closest I had as a daughter, and I’m so sorry that her life was cut short, but we experienced an abundance of it while she was here. Her spirit will continue to live in our memories and hearts. RIP Jennifer.

Jennifer, was my best friend when I arrived in Arizona. We would always cruise Central in High School. Before D.J. & Ashley, we saw every movie released from 1989-1993. Jennifer was friendly, caring , shy and easily embarrassed.  We had some rough times when dating but she always made sure the kids were top priority.  Next to the birth of the kids,  Jennifer, loved to have fun.  We played Domino's soo much the dots wore off the bones. She always overcame any obstacles to achieve her goals. We shared love, parenthood, laughter, music and a lot of fun! One of my favorite memories is playing the easy part of “Heart and Soul” on the piano at the mall. (She played the hard part.) Neither of us knew the other could play, so it was a surprise that we had that in common also! Jenifer was a kind loving person that I loved very much. She will be truly missed. I encourage everyone that knew her to keep honoring her memory in our daily lives! Rest in Peace Jennifer E. Jones, until we meet again.

CUZZIN!! You were THE cousin I looked up to! You chilled hard with me as a little one.. Wizard of Oz was my daily movie every time I came over. Listening to Duran Duran,  in awe as my BIG cuz  got cute with all your pins which elevated the look and feel of each outfit!  I know you didn't go far in those cute outfits because you always made it back to play Pick up Stick or do something cool giving me all your attention. 

As I grew older and came back to AZ for family  visits, you were the first to come swoop me up allowing me to ride shotgun  wherever you were going for the day. it could've been  lunch, carwash, visit a friend or anywhere you took me and showed me everything! Of course you looked gorgeous  as ever with your jewelry on, highlighted hair and always had a chill relaxed outfit making the shoes the star of the show! 
These trips motivated me to get that dream job.. aka USAA.  Well, I didn't get that job, but the job did service USAA clients and when I got promoted to that USAA team.... I knew then I made it to BIG cuz status.

Thank you for your inspiration Cuzzin! Today, I'm still chasing dreams! HaHa, like we would always say.. OHHH NOOO!  (Our inside jokes are forever in my heart)
I LOVE YOU!

Jennifer was an incredibly smart, kind and loving woman. Her generosity is what I will cherish the most. Jennifer was always there when you needed her. She rescued me when I was hospitalized on the verge of giving birth to our twins. We couldn’t find anyone to watch Lauren who was one years old. I believe I was riddled with anxiety over this fact. Jennifer, who was only 18 saved the day. She came over and picked up Lauren and took wonderful care of her. I was then able to relax and all was well. I remain extremely grateful for Jennifer. I will miss her immensely.
Rest in heavenly peace Jennifer! 

I’d known Jennifer for as long as I’ve been best friends with Ashley so at least 10 years if not longer. She was always such a kind and welcoming person, and was truly a joy to be around as well as being absolutely hilarious w/ such a great sense of humor. She still to this day holds the record for one of the funniest things thats happened to me from a weekend she stayed with me and dog sat a dog who would not listen to a thing we said the whole weekend, before realizing we had been calling her the wrong name the entire time. 

I’ll miss sharing a laugh w/ you Jennifer. Love you! RIP

Jennifer always welcomed me in her home and made me feel comfortable. She showed me her love with hugs, kind words, and delicious food. One of my favorite memories was when she introduced me to her style of ramen- no water, butter, and all the seasoning… Changed my LIFE. Love you and miss you 💛 Thank you for letting me be a part of your family’s life. 

I only met Jennifer a few times, only really knew her as Ashley’s mom. But I can say that she was always so approachable and eager to catch up and hear how we were doing. 
I never really had other friends moms around growing up, but having Jennifer around from time to time was really wonderful. Grateful to have known you. 

Jennifer was always so kind to me, from childhood all the way to adulthood. She will be missed. My prayers go out to Joice, and her children. May she Rest In Peace and love.

Jennifer, I met you only a couple of times. But, I know you through your wonderful mother and friend, Joice, who I met and worked with at Luke Air Force Base. We shared stories about our daughters and being single parents and, especially young Ashley who Joice compared her to me. My daughter, Kristine, feels your mothers pain as I do. It is difficult to express words about loss.
We thought that if you had to go to heaven early, we are grateful it was without pain. May God and the Blessed mother look over you and your family. Betty and Kristine

Although I have only known Jennifer for a few years, I always appreciated her quick wit and humor, as well as her candidness and fearlessness to speak her truth and advocate for herself and others! I also know that Jennifer was a dedicated, tenacious, and seriously hard worker, as she demonstrated the importance of those characteristics for her children and others. 
I am grateful that I was able to meet and get to know her as much as I was able to, and I truly feel so blessed to have received that opportunity in my  life.

I grew up with Jennifer and knew her sweet wonderful mom Joice.  I am so terribly saddened my cool friend is gone.  We had many many memories from grade school and then high school going out dancing at clubs.   Rest in peace sweet Jennifer.  We will all miss you.
