John's humor and vast knowledge will be missed.  I will be forever grateful for the time that I worked with John.

Terry and family - John was a dedicated worker who had a strong moral compass.  He made us all strive to do better, to do more, and to not settle for mediocrity.  John had a wealth of experience and knowledge, and was always willing to share that with others, but never pushed it on anyone.  He was a champion for doing the right thing, in the right way.  His strength and humor live on, and he will forever be a member of our team.  His commitment to his family was always evident, and we mourn his loss with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Kelly I know how much John meant to you and your family and just know that you now have a guardian angel watching over you. I can only imagine the pain your heart is feeling and I pray that you guys stick together and be strong. Love you!

I've worked with John at the Peoria Police Department for many years.  John was a great guy, a hardworker and  was always there to help you.  Most importantly John was a very  friendly guy, always asking how things are and what he could do to help you out.   John you will be missed, rest in peace.

John will forever be remembered to me as my FTO.  He was my mentor and friend as I started my career here at GPD.  The others here at work asked me to send their sympathies as well.  While many of us knew John and you here at GPD, some here didn't; but yet still feel as they did know him through the things we have shared about our forever Family members. I worked with John at Peoria Police Department.  He was a hard worker & a great guy.  I will miss him.  God bless your family during this difficult time.

We were all deeply shocked by John's sudden death.   He was a great guy with a big heart -- a kind, caring, and gentle person that will be missed by all of us.  

John, besides being my co-worker, you were a very special friend. I'll truly miss you, especially your off-beat sense of humor.

John is now walking with the angels and I pray the love of God enfolds Terry and his family during this difficult period and He helps them heal with the passage of time.
