I was very saddened to learn of the loss of John. I have great memories of him during our days together at Mansfield Senior High School. He was a natural athlete and excelled in several sports. Most importantly, he was a great person and well respected by all. My sincere condolences to his entire family.  Jim Goode

John, being neighbors across the street we had so many great times. All of us loved that country music and we did go to quite a few performances. One I remember most was when Garth Brooks was just starting out.  The four of us when to a small bar where he was performing. He performed "Friends in Low Places."  What a great time we had together. Believe that was his first recording. 

John, thank you for all those memories and laughter we all had together in whatever we did.
