

Joseph Soock, 95, of Glendale passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born on October 1926 to the late Joseph and Theresa (Seidl) Soock in Buffalo New York. He attended Vocational High School in Buffalo and was later employed as a sheet metal worker. He began his career working with his father in the industry. Joseph married the love of his live Dorothy Schueler in January 1948. In 1960, the family moved to Arizona. Joseph found employment with the Goettl Brothers.
Joseph earned the status of fourth-degree in the Knights of Columbus, the highest and most prestigious degree within the Knights . He was Knight of the Month several times and even became the Knight of the Year for 1995, 2012 and 2013. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and play golf occcasionally. Joseph cherished spending time with his fellow Knights. They would play cards, take trips to the casino trips or go bowling.
Joseph is survived by two of his children, Michael and Susan. Grandchildren Karen, Heidi, Jennifer, Tracy, and Philip. Great grandchildren Orlando, Joey, and Scott. He was preceded in death by his siblings Theresa, John, Susanna, and Anthony, His wife Dorothy, children James and Linda and his grandchildren Steven and Stacey.
A Visitation for will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, Arizona with a rosary service to flow at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 10:00am St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 8615 W. Peoria Ave, Peoria, Arizona. The Graveside Service will follow at 12:30pm at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 9925 W.Thomas Rd, Avondale, Arizona. A Reception will be held after the graveside at 1:30 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
