IN THE CARE OF
June Walter passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on August 22, 2024. She was born Wilma June Moore on June 22, 1937 in McRae, Arkansas to the late Frank and Lynn Moore.
June married Donald Herbert Walter on May 15, 1956; they celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on May 27, 2024.
June was a military wife taking care of her and Don’s five daughters Patricia, Audrey, Carolyn, Elizabeth & Fawn and the household as he was serving our county for over 22 years in the Air Force.
She is survived by four daughters Patricia Mitchell, Diane Taylor, Elizabeth True & Fawn Warren, five grandchildren Jacquelyn, Joshua, Sara, Gregory & Donald and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, a daughter Carolyn Widell and eight siblings Sharon, Red, Clifford, Tressie, Lloyd, Albert, Bonnie & Wayne preceded June in death.
