Sissy,

I’ve spent  weeks trying to find the right words. I still can’t believe I can’t pick up the phone and hear your infectious laugh, hear you say “I love you sis”. You may be gone, but the memories we share will always live with me. From watching you graduate high school and walk across the stage with your sunglasses on holding your heels in one hand and your purse in the other, giving birth to Dakayla, throwing your baby shower, to you calling me everyday when I was pregnant just to check up on me, make sure I’ve eaten, and lecture me about the importance of the baby shower that I eventually ended up having. You’ve impacted my life in such a powerful and positive way. I admired you and looked up to you from the second you moved from Cali and lived with dad and my mom. Wherever you were I wanted to be, what ever you did I wanted to do.  Because of you I know what it means to be strong, driven, and successful. Your legacy lives on through Dakayla. You will forever be missed, forever be loved, and never forgotten.

That is how I know you. I enjoyed the times me and your dad and your sisters would pick you up in San Diego to go on our adventures. You were shy at times, but once you opened up, your smile was so infectious. 
I remember your dad giving you a hard time when you were in your late teens and you were so very proud of the name brand purse you just bought. He wanted you to save your money for better things and he said "at least your bus pass will look good in your purse"! 
We had a lot of good times together, I wish there would have been more...
 I will never forget being there with you while you gave birth to Dakayla.

 Im going to miss you more than any words can describe. I loved making you laugh. Sharing friendships and families. We have created amazing moments together. Some sad, mad, fun, happy. But they were ours. So many birthdays, work, our kids. Nothing will be the same without that laugh, and "I can't" moments. I was the muscles you were the brains, at least that's what you said when you made me help you move 🙄. One of the best memories. Ill never forget you, how can i, your such a unique women, there is no other. Ill see you again one day, give em your all until I'm there. I love you my friend  ❤️

My beautiful friend ❤ There are no words to express the heartache I feel knowing I am never going to hear your voice or see that big beautiful smile of yours again. I am going to miss all the times we would finish each others sentences and look at each other like really?!! We could communicate without words and know exactly what the other was thinking. We used to say we were separated at birth, Ebony and Ivory. Lol only we will understand. I miss you on a level so deep my heart is broken. We were supposed to grow old together, you in your wig and walker and me in my moo moo and wheelchair like we laughed about on many occasions. You were such a strong beautiful spirit K, irreplaceable. My only solace is knowing a part of you lives on in your beautiful daughter. I will never forget all the times you made me laugh till I cried. All the songs from the 90s we sang together in the car, and all the late night phone calls we shared talking about people ( our secret) I miss you, I love you, I am a better person because of you. You will NEVER be forgotten. A friend like you is rare and I thank God for the time he allowed us to share together. Until we meet again my friend. xx V

I miss your laugh and all the sunshine in your smile. You could light up a room, just by walking in. I never dreamed our last conversation would be our last. I know heaven needed another angel, but I am heartbroken for Dakayla. She is your mini me and I know she wont forget you, nor will she let the world forget you. She is your legacy! May our heavenly father comfort those in time of mourning and heal the brokenhearted.  Kanisha, I know you are rejoicing with heavenly father and I want to thank you for loving the clients the way you did. Anytime someone on your caseload needed something,  you were on it.  Your favorite line that you would use with me is " I can't with you right now." And you were ALWAYS hungry, always wanting to snack on something, yet you were always wanting to share your monkey bread; You always made sure to tell me thank you and you appreciated me. So, thank you for your kindness. I will see you in heaven.

Kanisha had an amazing spirit, she had a smile that would brighten any room. Kanisha would make you feel like there was no worries in the world. You will be missed.

True definition of a friend nonjudgmental, listening ear, understanding, just a beautiful soul and fun to be around. Kanisha, you will be missed so much by so many! Rest easy babygirl see u soon😘

My beautiful sister , the person I couldn't sleep without when I was a baby , she always said "Bree you need to get and your own bed" 😪 besides my big sister she was like my second mom .. the person I talk to everyday , always hearing " idc how old you get you will always be my baby Bree , that's all I keep hearing Lord Jesus be with me I can go on for days about my sister but I'm shedding a tear just writing this I love you beautiful 💛🌺🌺🌺🌺
