

Karen was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 2, 1949. She was the first born of Arthur Lynn and Beth Kelly Weber. She attended grade school at JB Sutton, and graduated Carl Hayden High School in 1967.
After graduation, Karen moved to Alaska and lived with her uncle and aunt, Jack and Mary Anna Foster. While there, she met and married Leo Emerson. In 1968, they returned to her beloved Arizona. In 1969 they welcomed a son, Jason Emerson, and in 1970, they welcomed a daughter, Julie Emerson Carroll. In 1972, she married Gary DuBois. In 1973 they welcomed a daughter, Jennifer DuBois Merriman. She met her soul mate, Bill Poole, and they were married on November 19, 1982.
Karen held bookkeeper positions in several different companies throughout her working life. She went to work for her brother in 1992, at S.O.S. Exterminating as a technician. She worked there until the company was sold. She then worked for Maricopa County until her retirement in 2013.
Karen is survived by: her mother, Beth Kelly Weber, her siblings; Stephen (and Cherie) Weber, Andrew (and JoAnne) Weber, and Paula (and Bob) Krueger, brother in law, Marty Larson, her children; Jason Emerson, Julie Emerson Carroll, and Jennifer (and Donn) Merriman, her grandson, Brandon LeBarge, and many nieces and nephews. Her uncle and aunts; Jack and Mary Anne Foster, John and Joy Lee Weber and Fred and Helen Kelly, as well as numerous cousins.; and many nieces and nephews.
Karen left this world on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014. She was greeted in Heaven by her father, Arthur Lynn Weber, her husband, Bill Poole, and her little sister, Gayle Weber Larson. Upon her departure, she was asked to deliver a Happy Birthday kiss from her mom to her dad, as she likely joined his birthday party in progress.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00pm, at Grace Bible Church, located at: 4002 West Union Hills Drive, Phoenix.
