Born on October 28, 1949, in Phoenix, Arizona, he was the eldest of five sons born to the late Johnny and Vesta Roper.
Kenneth married Sylvia Arenas on October 7, 1978; they have shared over 43 years of marriage.
He worked as a DJ for Bobby McGee’s for many years until his retirement.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; two children, Matthew Roper and Marlena (Terry) Dell; four brothers, Gary (Bettyanne), Stanley (Tammy), David, and Steven (Ilse); five grandchildren, Veronica Roper, Autumn Schimitis, Mia Matheson, Reed Matheson, and Alexander Dell; and his former daughter-in-law, Sandy Schimitis.
In addition to his parents, an infant daughter, Sara, preceded him in death.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 1 p.m.
