Kesha Sheree Reed

Kesha Sheree Reed was born on March 30, 1970, in Los Angeles, California to the proud parents Bonita and Jimmy Hayes Sr. Kesha was the baby girl of four children and was very outgoing and adventurous. Kesha accepted Christ as a young adult and she loved and trusted God.

Kesha attended Century Park Elementary School, John Muir Junior High School and she earned her diploma from George Washington Preparatory High School in June of 1988. She later attended Cypress Community College where she worked on general education courses with the focus on nursing. Kesha was a girly girl who believed in self care, her hair and clothes were always on point. Her favorite color was red.

In 1992, Kesha gave birth to a bundle of joy her one and only daughter Keshahna Hasan. She was one proud momma. She loved being a mother and it showed through her patience and love for her daughter. In April 1997, Kesha met the love of her life Mr. Patrick Reed and two became one in holy matrimony in July, 2006. They enjoyed 18 years of marriage.

Kesha, love spending time with her husband going to dinner and the movies. She found laughter in various comedy shows and her grandson "Remy". One of her proudest family moments was seeing her daughter Keshahna graduate from college with her Master's Degree. Her favorite song is "Love Ballard" by Jeffery Osborne. She was very patient, loving, caring, sharing, and helpful. She loved to laugh and spend time with family.

Kesha was preceded in death by her mother, Bonita Hayes and father, Jimmy Hayes Sr. Kesha leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Patrick Reed, one daughter Keshahna Brockman (Dustin), one granddaughter Arhi Brockman, one grandson Remy Brockman, two sisters Sonya Green of Seattle, Washington, and Aundrea Hayes, and one brother Jimmy Hayes Jr. of Los Angeles, California and host of aunties, uncles, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service for Kesha was held Friday, July 12, 2024 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona.
