Kim was known for her larger than life personality and her even bigger laugh. Kim was never afraid to speak her mind, colorful language included, lend a hand, or be a friend. These qualities among countless others are what made Kim so beloved and solidified her lasting impact in everyone she met. Kim started playing softball when she was 7 years old and played well into her adulthood. She advanced to the top Arizona fast pitch leagues during her time on the field. Additionally, Kim was a dedicated employee of the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Court, where she worked from the age of 18 to retirement. Here she gained respect, love and formed many lifelong friendships.
She is survived by her son Reggie Cooper, her “girls” daughter in law Jodi and granddaughters Cassadi and Caydi, adopted grandson Trevor, brother Scott , sister in law Mary, brother Tom, sister in law Barb and her beloved niece and nephews. Kim is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ned and Nina Holly.
There will be a Celebration of Kim’s life on Friday August 18, 2017 at 1 pm at Green Acres Glendale Mortuary in Glendale, Arizona. All those who knew and loved Kim are encouraged to join the family to celebrate her life.
