My heart goes out to the family and I send my deeprest sympathy.  I worked with Koren for 11 years at the Attorney General's Office.  It was a pleasure working with her side by side.  Koren was always willing to help anyone in need and she was a great mentor.  She had an excellent work ethic and always went above and beyond.  She was truly a shining star.  We often talked about her crafting projects and she shared some great ideas.  We shared a lot of stories and we laughed a lot.  I will always carry these memories with me.  I will miss her greatly.

I am a member of an online card crafting site, of which Koren was a member.  It was fun to get to know her over 25 years online. 

She and I once had a walking competition, but I don't think either of us did very well.  She couldn't walk outside due to the AZ heat, and I just lost my determination here in Washington State. It was fun anyway.

Many members of the crafting site have PM'd me over the past several months asking if I knew what was up with Koren. I wish I had. We would all have sent cards of encouragement. But I understand she may have wanted her privacy.

I am So so Sad to hear this ,I have been Long time friends with Koren since grade 6 ,we have Never met but were "pinpals " for Many years still keep in touch with letters and on the phone matter of fact our birthday' s are 5 days apart and I use to call her and tease her that she was older than me .Joel and Joe I am  So Sorry for your loss. Koren and I shared an office space in the Library at Snell & Wilmer. She was a fantastic colleague and a wonderful person. I am privileged to have had that experience and to count her as my friend. My heart goes out to Joe, Joel, and all of Koren's other family and friends that will miss her dearly. I have thought often of Koren over the years--always with affection---and I will continue to do so.

My deepest sympathies for the Lyons family. Koren was my assigned Paralegal at Snell & Wilmer when I was beginning my legal career. She was an amazing mentor and definitely my go-to person even as my legal journey took me beyond S&W. I will miss her dearly, as I’m sure everyone will agree: she was so kind, and funny and an all-around delight!

Dear Koren,

You were always such a warm presence whenever I saw you. I remember bumping into you during lunch time 6 years ago and how it felt to see you and hug you, it made my day. Your smile and kind words made everyone feel welcome. Joel couldn't have asked for a more loving and dedicated mom. The way you supported him through everything showed what an incredible parent you were. You will be deeply missed, and my heart goes out to Joel and the rest of your family. May your memory be a blessing.
