She was born on July 12, 1930 in Neodesha, Kansas to the late Melford and Viola Johnson.
Leila married Albert L. “Jigs” Williams and they shared many years of marriage prior to his passing.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Steve & Terri Dougherty, brother Howard Johnson, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, a daughter Lorna Dougherty, son Larry Dougherty and five siblings Richard Johnson, Marvin Johnson, Glen Johnson, Bonita Tucker and Jean Zadorozny preceded Leila in death.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 9-10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Graveside services will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
