Linda Lee (Blacksmith) Grubisa, 60, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on October 7, 2021, peacefully in her home with her son by her side. Linda was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John Henry and Margaret Ann (Synan) Blacksmith, the oldest of two children.

Linda grew up in Pittsburgh having gone all through school and graduating from Shaler Area High School in 1979. Soon after graduation, Linda married her high school sweetheart, Stephen Michael Grubisa. Linda and Stephen had a son and they named him after his father.

From Pittsburgh, Linda and Stephen relocated to Chicago for his job. It wasn’t long that they became homesick and moved back to Pittsburgh in 1988. Linda and Stephen grew in different directions.

Linda was offered a promotion to Phoenix with GNC in 1995 and she and Steve Jr. began a new adventure. In 2016, Steve Jr. joined the GNC team and Linda was proud to have her son working with her. Linda worked for GNC over 30 years, right up until her illness took over and she was unable to work.

Linda leaves behind her son and love of her life, Stephen “Steve” Michael Grubisa Jr. and some very close friends.

Linda will be missed.

Linda is one of the nicest hard working person I ever met. I had the pleasure of knowing Linda nearly 3 decades with GNC. Many time we would call each other to compare how how hard it was to keep our inventory straight and how thing would fall apart if we didn't care. We kept things together because we both did care and thought of GNC as our family. I will miss our talks Linda. Be with God and God please help her Family remember only fun memories of the great mom, daughter, friend she was.
