Lonnie was a man who truly lived life on his own terms. He didn't follow anyone else's script—he lived the way he wanted, stayed true to who he was, and walked his own path. His independence was built on a foundation of pure grit; he worked hard his entire life, pouring his energy into jobs that demanded real, honest labor and dedication.
Yet, as hard as he worked and as independent as he was, Lonnie had an incredibly open heart. He had many friends throughout his life and loved every single one of them fiercely.
Above all, his heart belonged to his family. He deeply loved his Mom, his sister Bobbi Jo, and his brothers Skeet (Rondy) and Todd. That bond extended into the beautiful family he built; his love for his wife, Terry, and their daughters, Megan and Michelle, was unwavering. That devotion only grew with his 10 grandchildren, who brought a special kind of joy to his life. Lonnie showed us that you can be true to yourself and work hard for what matters, all while being completely dedicated to the people you love.
