Lorena Rosario Parra, 21, entered heaven on February 22, 2020. Lorena was born on December 19, 1998 to Laura Barraza and Jesus Parra in Phoenix, Arizona. Lorena was the oldest of three sisters and one brother. Lorena was just 13 years old when her parents separated and her dad remarried, Maria. Lorena not only had her siblings of her mother Laura but also those of her mother Maria and Jesus. Lorena had the most beautiful, genuine relationship with all her brothers and sisters which she really loved and called them her babies. She had the best of both worlds and the love of her grandparents Rafaela and Martin Parra whom later in life she called them parents. Lorena was loved and spoiled by all especially from Martin and Rafaela. Lorena was loving with everyone, she’d say “I love you” to everyone she loved in every opportunity she had. Lorena made lots of friend thru out her lifetime, she built some trong bonds with those around her. Lorena was strong, willing to help others, loyal to friends and family, she always had the greatest smile no matter what life would throw at her. Lorena’s laughter was so contagious and like no other. She was a respectful young lady with everyone. Lorena loved music she would hear music all day, music was her escape from her feelings. Lorena also loved to sing all the time, every party or family gathering we all would ask her to sing there was something about her voice that we just loved. Lorena always put her soul into her singing she was just amazing. Everyone around Lorena knew she was a pet lover; Lorena always had a pet dog or cat which she treated like a baby. Makeup was also a big part of Lorena’s life she just loved it, she would practice on herself or sisters and other family members she would watch youtube videos and followed makeup artists to create new looks. Lorena also made sure her makeup was done with eyelashes to finish the look because, eyelashes were everything she would say. She always asked for makeup as a gift for her birthday or Christmas she was obsessed, she would say she was waaaay better that all the makeup artist shed seen and she was right! Nails was another must have for Lorena; she didn’t feel the look was complete if her nails were not done and because we knew this, we all had paid for her nails at some point. She had so many dreams to accomplish, she wanted to finish high school and later become a veterinarian or a dental assistant. Lorena first job was retail working for Walmart, she hated waking up early, but she loved to work and meet new people, she always had a story to share about work. Lorena always dreamed of marring and having a family with her boyfriend Joseph Enas she even had names for her children. The name Martin would have been for a boy and Ariel for a girl. Lorena leaves behind so many of us in pain, her mother’s Laura Barraza, Maria Parra, her Ama Rafaela Parra. Her daddy Jesus Parra, her Apa Martin, dad Oscar and her stepfather Jorge Dominguez.
