I am sorry for the loss of your loved one,  and wanted to share some scriptures in which you may find comfort. What the Bible teaches about death and the condition of the dead is comforting. Since the dead do not suffer pain or heartache. Also, we find comfort in the hope of the resurrection.  This means that you can have the heartwarming hope that someday in God's new world you will be reunited with loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.  Acts 9:36,41.   What a joy there is in the hope of a resurrection to everlasting life on a paradise earth Psalm 37:11,29.

November 3. 2018. I wish we could have been with you all at the memorial service in California. We just learned of Lorene's passing yesterday in the newspaper and were looking today to learn the date of the service so we could attend. We were saddened for you to hear of her passing but know that she is in Heaven with our Mother Joyce walking those streets paved of gold together. Knowing we will meet them again is a great blessing.

To the family of Lorene. I am so happy that Lorene reconnected the last 3 to 4 years of her life. The memories We shared as children growing up and then after reconnecting the last 3 to 4 years were wonderful!!
I regret that I may not be able to attend her service on Saturday! We no longer are driving and do not have a car.
Your Morher left a wonderful legacy not only to her family, but to Glencroft where she lived an excellent Christian example and a witness for our God!
One very special gift she gave to me was the opportunity to meet you children and most of your families. She was blessed with a beautiful family.

My oldest female 1st cousin. Although I never personally got to know you with the difference in our ages and distance in where we lived. I finally did get to meet you in person just 1 time and I'm very grateful that I had that chance before you went to Heaven with all of our family before. A long time ago I know about some of the hard times you had growing up. But I'm very grateful for your parents and Aunt Mary & Uncle John taking myself and my sister's in when my Mother was ill. We had a chance to meet so many of my Moms relatives in Iowa and they will be cherished memories even after I'm gone. I'm sure my sister's R.I.P. are getting to know you in Heaven. My mother always spoke of you and all of her nieces and nephews. I always wished I could have grown up here in Iowa to be around so many of my relatives. I hope when it's my time to go I will end up with all of you. Keep getting God to change his mind so I can be with all of you. Rest in Peace cuz.

Toots it has been a long, long hard road for you and now at last you can fine your eternal peace. Times were tough and hard for you growing up, but you
took great care of your brothers. I remember things that happened during
our childhood that I will never forget and what you did for us. Our laughter
and cheerful times that we had in our childhood and later as adults will now
become a faint memory of times long past. As adults, you went your way and
I went my way, but please remember you were always with me where ever
you or I went. May the Good Lord take you now in his loving arms and care for
you in this, your time of need. God Bless you Lorene Marie Rhodes Pruitt.
Toots I have always loved you and will miss you dearly.
