Loretta Jean Leicht

Loretta Leicht, 74, of Surprise, Arizona, died on August 28, 2015. She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Alan, three daughters, Cheryl (Bryan), Angela (Miguel), and Crystal (Paul), and her favorite step-son, Alan Jr. She is also survived by her grandkids, Daniela, Trishelle, Marisa, Alexis, Brandon, Austin, Max, and Henry; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Charlotte, Barbara, and Lisa.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda, and grandson, Alan III.

Loretta was born in Haskell, Texas in 1940 where she was the best big sister in the whole wide world, according to Charlotte. She loved to dance, particularly with Alan. She loved when Alan would stand up and recite the introduction to the original TV Superman series. She was a great cook and she loved to bring people together.

She was honest, encouraging and could see through you at times; never judging. She could open an empty fridge and make a delicious meal. Best cleaner in town.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 1 at 7pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ. A viewing will begin at 6pm.
