She attended Glendale High School where she met the love of her life, Carl Sherrill. They graduated in 1959 and were married in September 1961.
Louise loved hosting family and friends in her home for holidays, birthdays, bible studies, or just because. She loved the Lord and enjoyed Karen Kingsbury Christian novels, Hallmark movies and The Golden Girls.
Louise is survived by her children Brian (Lisa), Brad (Teri), Kelly (Ron); eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and her sister Sharon Austerman.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband Carl, of 54 years in 2015, her parents Raymond and Zula Austerman, her sister Joyce Austerman and brother Carl Ray Austerman.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Louise’s life on Saturday, November 4th at 11 a.m. at South Peoria Baptist Church, 9000 W Olive Ave.
If anyone wishes to make a donation in honor of Louise, the family suggests memorial donations be made to her church, South Peoria Baptist Church, so they can continue their ministry.
