A native Phoenician, she was born on December 13, 1945 to the late Daniel and Carmen Ybarra.
Lupe met Rudy D. Reyna in grade school. They shared 36 years of marriage prior to his passing on September 20, 1998.
She was a CNA for many years working at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City, Arizona until she retired. After retirement Lupe enjoyed going to Bingo Halls and Saturday night dancing.
Lupe is survived by her five daughters Susan Reyna, Teresa Reyna, Angelita Y. Reyna, Cicilia Reyna & Patricia Reyna, five siblings Lydia Lomas, Jesse Villas, Virginia Puebla, Barbara Castenada & Gilbert Ybarra, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild Shane Reyna, and two great grandchildren Cicily Marie Cabrera & Libby Jamie Reyna.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 3-4PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 4PM. We will continue celebrating Lupe with a dinner reception from 5PM to 8PM at American Legion Post #29, 6822 N. 57th Drive, Glendale.
