Luz Divina Romero-Chavez

For 49 years, Luz was married to Raul Chavez, and together they built a family that was the center of her world. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (Kenneth) Chavez, Hilda (Alejandro) Ruiz, Lucy (Francisco) Lopez, and Elisabeth (Misael) Chavez. Luz's family extended to include 11 beloved grandchildren: Lesley, Raudel (Selene) , Alejandro (Elena), Ethan, Elijah (Nancie), Angelique (Nick), Vernique (Julian), Natalie, Annamarie (Emmanuel), Jacob, and Jayla, as well as four great-grandchildren: Noelle, Ezra, Azalea, and Elias. Luz was the cherished sister of Arcelia, Elvira, Lupe, Bertha, Julia, Perfecto, and Natalia.

She was predeceased by her parents, Perfecto and Petra Romero, and her brother Albino.

Luz's life was filled with simple joys. She found pleasure in crocheting, baking, solving puzzles, and playing Loteria. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, creating memories that will be held dear by those she leaves behind.

Luz Divina Romero-Chavez will be remembered as a beloved matriarch whose warmth and spirit touched the hearts of many. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
