She was born in Syracuse, New York on July 20, 1957 to the late Ivan and Marilyn Popejoy.
Lynette worked in the passport office for many years. She graduated with her Masters's degree in Social Work which she was very proud of.
Lynette loved to laugh and be around people. She loved to eat at new restaurants, go shopping and spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to be at all their sporting events and do one on one outings to create memories.
She is survived by four children Emily (Craig) Jackson, Lori Popejoy, Ian Popejoy & David (Emily Schmidt) Popejoy, six grandchildren and a brother Robert (Clare) Popejoy.
Family and friends are invited to a service honoring Lynette on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
