She was born on May 25, 1924 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Natividad and Josefa Rojas.
Magdalena is survived by eight children Robert Velez, Adelaido Velez, Jr., Angelica Velez, Daniel Velez, Terri Meza, Manuel Velez, Sylvia Binion and Rick Velez, three sisters Cleo Cruz, Rosa Galindo and Tiburcia Banda, two brothers Victor Rojas and Jesse Rojas, 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Adelaido Velez on July 12, 1988, daughter Janie Gonzalez, two sisters Luisa Rojas and Cruz Banda.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale.
