Born February 19, 1983 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was the loving son of Raymond & Norma Cota. Growing up, Marcus was known for his mechanical curiosities, quick laugh, and adventurous spirit. He graduated from Centennial High School.
Marcus loved working on cars & motorcycles, and anything with a motor. He loved to spend time with his two beautiful daughters. He had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him and always offered a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Denise Hall, Margo Garza, Raymond Thomas Cota, Roman Gabriel Cota, Raymond Joseph Cota, Maritsa Roxanne Cota; His children, Olivia Raquel Cota, Ivy Pamela Cota; 17 nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life service will be held on August 12th, 2026 at Grace Church of Arizona 13000 W Wolfley Drive, El Mirage 85335. Viewing from 9am-10am, with service starting at 10am. Burial to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W Northern Ave. Glendale, Arizona 85301
