Margaret “Peggy” Ann Blacksmith of Glendale Arizona went to join her husband, son, brother, and parents on February 16, 2019. Peggy was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on July 25, 1937 to Thomas and May (Fertig) Synan, one of two children. Peggy grew up in Pittsburgh where she attended school and worked various jobs. Peggy was married to John (Jack) Henry on March 25, 1959 and had two children of their own. Peggy had a career with GNC, working various positions in the distribution plant, retiring as the Q.A Technician with 35 years of service. Peggy loved camping, playing bingo, and was a collector of Scobby-Doo. She loved reading mysteries and horror novels. Two of her favorite authors were Stephen King and James Patterson. The most special thing about Peggy is that she had a way about her that could make people laugh. She also had a knack for “interrogation”, but in a good way. She could meet someone, make them feel at ease, and within minutes would know their whole life story. When asked about hat person she could tell you ALL the details…. Except,,, the name. She never could remember the name.
Peggy leaves behind her daughter Linda and her grandson Steve, and various nieces and nephews. She is preceded for the Love of her life John Henry Blacksmith Jr; her son John Thomas, her brother Thomas; and her parents Thomas and May.
No services have been planned at this time and thank you for the wishes and prayers.
