

Margaret was born in Peakes Turnout, Hanover, Hanover County, Virginia on August 27, 1927. Peggy was the daughter of Charles Rowland Hall and Margaret Thornton (Morrison) Hall.
For 56 years, Margaret was the beloved spouse of Martin Loren Easton Sr., who preceded her in death, along with their cherished daughter Gail L. (Easton) Burr. She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings.
Margaret is survived by her children: Susan Dubocq of Anaheim, CA; Donna Brooks (Kenny) Palm Springs, CA; John Easton (Patricia) Laveen, AZ; Linda Johnson (Michael) Avon, NC; Martin Easton Jr. Kannapolis, NC; Sandra Torres (Danny) Lake Elsinore, CA; and Scott Easton Blairsville, GA. She also leaves behind many treasured grandchildren: Denise Gonzales (Gabriel), Doreen Dubocq, Debra Trexler, Michael Johnson (Carrie), Gregory Burr (Diana), Steven Burr (Denise), John Easton Jr. (Tylar), Caroline Easton, Liliana Easton, Amber Pierce, Martin Easton III (Hilary), Rob Carpenter (Marjorie), Sean Torres (Sara), Kevin Easton, and Kelly Easton. Peggy also leaves behind 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren who filled her heart with joy, and many nieces and nephews. Nothing was more important to Peg than family.
Martin and Peggy spent many happy years raising their large family in Addison NY. They were blessed to extensively travel the United States, where they always made many beloved friends. They later retired to Florida, before settling in North Carolina. Martin died there in 2011, and Peggy later moved to Georgia, California, and Arizona to be near her children. Peggy was an accomplished artist and crafter, making unique and personalized cards and calendars which her family will miss. She had a fondness for animals, and her Maltese Mindy, was by her side always in her final years, even traveling with Peg. This remarkable lady was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed. A private celebration of life will follow in California at a later date.
