Maria S. Depeña passed away on March 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Jalisco, Mexico on December 7, 1940 to the late Adalberto Curiel and Beatriz Dueñas.

Maria married Jose Peña on January 25, 1958. Together they had six children Jose, Ana, Hilda, Raul, Teresa & Jesse. Maria and Jose celebrated 63 years of marriage this year.

She is survived by her devoted husband Jose, four children Ana, Hilda, Teresa & Jesse, three siblings Esperanza, Aurelio & Esteban, six grandchildren Claudia, Adriana, Raul, Monica, Beatriz & David and six great grandchildren Ariana, Erick, Aaron, Andrea, Mario & Alan.

In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by two sons Jose & Raul and two siblings Carmen & Jose.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 12noon-1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 1PM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
