Maria del Carmen Romero

Maria del Carmen Romero, age 79, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018. Carmen was born the 1st of July, 1939 in Cosuenda, Aragon, Spain. Carmen was the youngest of six girls, Nati(d), Ester, Pilar, Maria and Antonia. Carmen emigrated to the United States in 1962 with her husband Antonio and her first two children Carmen (Patty) and Michael. Carmen later had two more children, Christina and Rodrigo.

She worked in the hotel industry, specifically Embassy Suites for several years, retiring in 1996. Afterwards, Carmen enjoyed her time traveling, socializing with friends, her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Carmen Aitchison (David), Michael, Christina Homer (Dennis[d]) and Rodrigo (Mary), 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A viewing for Carmen will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301. A burial will occur at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85301.

A celebration of life will immediately follow at The Ceremony Shop, 7150 N 57th Ave, Glendale Arizona 85301.
