Marie Hidalgo Rost, 88 of Glendale, Arizona passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 24, 2012. She was born in Brackettville, Texas on July 22, 1924 to Juan and Apolonia Hidalgo, she was one of seven children. She moved to Arizona in the 1930’s and raised her son here. She resided at Glencroft in Glendale for the last 11 years where she was happy and well cared for. Marie was kind and generous to all. She is survived by her son Kurt William Rost; grandchildren Michelle Marie Rost and Treavor James Rost; daughter-in-law Karen Rost; brother Christopher; sisters Josie, Lelia, Louise; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kurt Rost and her brothers Savas and John Hidalgo. A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM with a Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5614 West Orangewood Ave. Glendale, Arizona.
