Marion Glen Clement 79, of Peoria, Arizona passed away on August 9, 2022, and was reunited with his sweetheart Shirley Elaine Clement. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Marion Cecil Clement and Jewel Elaine Fuller on April 15, 1943.
Glen is survived by his children - Martin Glen Clement (Nancy), Elizabeth Foulk (Trenton), Shirley Waite (Phil), Shelley Gusa (David), Roxanne Dent (David), Susanne Nally (Perry), Dwayne Marion Clement (Camille), Russell Edward Clement (Megan), David Champion Clement (Cilia), 35 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Glen was also the oldest of 11 children: John Clement, Charlotte Locksa, Melvin Clement, Julene Rigtrup, Janette Suttles, Darrell Clement, Carl Clement, Sheila Godbehere, Sharon Back, and Debra McClellan.
Glen will be missed sorely for his cheery, positive disposition and upbeat outlook. He was a hard worker that tirelessly worked to provide for his family. He delivered milk for Shamrock Dairy for 30 years and then drove a school bus for the Peoria Unified School District for several years. You rarely heard Glen complain, he would go to work and get the job done, but he would also play hard. He had a deep love of the great outdoors and nature. From camping, hunting, hiking, and fishing, he loved it all and did it as much as possible. This love helped him serve the young men of his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for over 28 years in various leadership roles.
Glen was a fantastic patriarch in his home with his wife Elaine right by his side. He knew that the best way to teach was through his example. He always prioritized family, genuinely cared about you and your struggles, and was a great listening ear. He had a great love for our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father; it showed in all he did.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12951 N. 83rd Avenue in Peoria. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and the funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
