Mark Gregory Hunsdon passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on January 24, 1957, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Hewitt Slader and Mary Jean Hunsdon. Mark was a resident in Glendale, Arizona.
Mark is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jackie Hunsdon; his son David Hunsdon of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter Heather Hunsdon of El Mirage, Arizona; sisters Hewlaine Von Bretzel of Phoenix, Arizona and Kim Hunsdon of Tucson, Arizona; brother J. Corey Hunsdon of Charlottesville, Virginia; and granddaughter Brittney Benham of El Mirage, Arizona.
Mark retired from the United States Postal Office after 24 years as a Mail handler. He enjoyed a good game of chess, loved rock and roll karaoke and contributed 55 poems to allpoetry.com under Hunsdon Poetry.
Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on September 3, 2026, at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at West Resthaven Funeral Home at 10:00 am, and a Committal Service at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, at 11:00 am.
