With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Ochoa-Canez, who left this world peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age of 76.

Mary Ann was a woman of remarkable warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. Born on May 13, 1949, she dedicated her life to caring for others—always putting family and loved ones before herself. Her kind spirit and selfless heart touched the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Mary Frances Samora (Daniel), Kerry Ann Soto (Greg), and Francisco Soto III “Nuni”. Her legacy lives on in her 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, who brought immense pride and joy to her life. Nothing made her happier than spending time surrounded by family—sharing laughter, meals, and precious memories that will be cherished forever.

Mary Ann loved going out to eat, especially when it meant time with those she held dear. She also adored her faithful dog, Wienie, who was always by her side. Her nurturing soul and joyful presence made every gathering brighter and every heart feel at home.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in the love she gave so freely and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Mary Ann’s life was a testament to kindness, compassion, and the power of putting others first.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
