

Mary J. Dalrymple (Little) passed away on March 26 in Glendale, Arizona from complications associated with lung cancer. Mary was born May 16, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee to Carlton Little and Twanda Bennett (Little), however, She was raised in northern Mississippi.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald W. Dalrymple, brother Jimmy Little and half sister Jane Crispen, daughter Jenni Mauney (Warrington) of Dry Creek, Mississippi, and sons Joseph Warrington Jr. of Naples, Florida, and Paul J. Warrington of Gulfport, Mississippi; stepdaughter Kaleen Gignac (Dalrymple) of Surprise, stepdaughter Kimberly Flattery (Dalrymple) of Glendale and stepson Jeffery Dalrymple of Phoenix. Her children and stepchildren presented her with many grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren and step grandchildren. She loved them all and always looked forward to spending time with them.
Mary retired from State employment after serving over 20 years as the Chief Investigator for the State of Arizona Industrial Commission Legal Department in 2008. She loved gardening, horseback riding and spending time with her family.
Mary was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in 2010. She underwent numerous chemotherapy and radiation treatments and also participated, through the Virginia G. Piper Clinical Studies, in a number of pre-FDA approval clinical studies starting in 2010 and continuing until her passing away. She believed the studies had little chance of real physical benefit to her but believed the results of the studies might help others and participating in the studies was her way of contributing to the fight against cancer.
