Mattat HaShalowm Yisrael Spratt was born on July 13, 2010 to Elias Timothy Spratt and Carla Berry-Spratt in Palm Springs, California. He was the younger of two older siblings, Aryel and N’aryah Spratt.
Mattat HaShalowm meaning “The Gift of Peace” was raised in the Hebrew faith in the teachings of the Towrah, Commandments of the Yeshuwah Ha Mashiyach. He was dedicated to The Most High Elohym at infancy.
Mattat was born a beautiful child with a beautiful spirit. He was loving, energetic and was always eager to lend a helping hand whether you’ve asked him or not. Mattat was extremely inquisitive about everything, always asking tons of questions and wanting to know; who, what, when, where and why? He was remarkably perceptive and engaging. Not only was Mattat a bright young man, but he was exceptionally athletic. He loved sports but, football was his favorite. He liked playing catch in the front yard with his dad, brother and sister. Mattat loved his family and they did everything together. He loved movies, amusement parks and eating out. Mattat had a special place in his heart for his dad whom he was very fond of. Being the baby of the family, he clang to his dad and he followed him wherever he went, emulating him, and he held his dad in the utmost admiration. Mattat was full of life and he always had a smile on his face and he was a happy little boy who will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him.
Mattat is survived by his father and mother, grandmothers, Julie Berry and Linda Benson, brother Aryel Spratt and sister N’aryah Spratt, cousins, uncles and aunties, Michael Berry and Christa Tuitt.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 10:00AM to 1:30PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. Mattat will be laid to rest following the visitation at Resthaven Park Cemetery also in Glendale.
