Melaine Robin Gordon

Melaine was born in 1945 in the Bronx, NY; the daughter of Sidney and Ida Wulkan. She was married for 48 years to Robert Gordon also from the Bronx, NY. Melaine attended Queens College and City College of NY, studying liberal arts, while also working as a travel agent. She had a love of books and worked as an assistant librarian at Roxbury High School in Roxbury, NJ, for over 15 years. She was devoted to her family and loved knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, and reading. She resided in NY, NJ, NV and Peoria, AZ. She loved all people and always had a smile and a kind word.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Gordon; daughters Caryn Gordon, Stacy Cole, and Allyson Gordon; grandchildren Julia, Angelina, Lucas, Ryan, Hope, Paulie, and Autumn; brother Barry Wulkan; son-in-law Ward Cole, and numerous nephews and cousins.

She has joined her parents; in-laws Sylvia and Arnold Gordon, and her beloved dogs Princess and Mystic in heaven.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the clubhouse at Quail Run Apartments (13868 N. 79th Ave, Peoria, AZ) on September 10, 2015 at 1 pm. There will be a Memorial Service to follow at West-Resthaven Park (6450 W Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ) at 5 pm. A private family internment will be held at a later time.
